Job Summary

Niche is looking for a new Product Manager to join our rapidly growing product team. As we expand the Niche footprint into new markets and technologies we are seeking new leaders to help us take advantage of the torrent of opportunities heading our way.

As a Product Manager at Niche, you will be responsible for conducting user research, identifying critical challenges and opportunities for the business, and guiding projects through the development cycle.

We are looking for enthusiastic and collaborative product leaders who can help rally the team behind our goals. You will be a key player in the development of our product strategy, and have the opportunity to help millions of people make better decisions about the most important places in their lives. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Focus on what matters. Know your users inside and out, and work constantly to refine your understanding about what will really move the needle for them. 
  2. Question everything. How could we make this more usable,  more profitable, faster, more robust?
  3. Get the right data for your question, and answer it.  Run an A/B test. Sit on client calls. Do some user tests. Mine the database. Field a survey.
  4. Get it built. Shepherd your project through design, tech, QA. Talk to the right people, hold the right meetings, follow up.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of quantitative/technical work experience
  • 2+ years of product management or product analyst work experience
  • Experience with A/B testing and analytical user research

Useful Experience

  • Degree in a quantitative/scientific field
  • SQL, R or Python
  • Experimental Design
  • Web Analytics
  • Survey Writing
  • Statistical Modelling
  • User Experience Design
