About the Job

We’re looking for a highly motivated New Business Account Executive, with SaaS experience, to help us grow our business with colleges and universities. You’ll be tasked with prospecting and closing new clients from Marketing and Admissions departments at colleges and K-12 schools, within a specific territory, for our Premium Profile product that gives institutions enhanced visibility on Niche.com.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales efforts by prospecting and closing sales to colleges and K-12 schools.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of clients.
  • Support various sales team initiatives.
  • Hit monthly quotas.
  • This is an inside sales position, selling via phone and email.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business or education related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience including sales and marketing in a SaaS environment.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills a must.
  • Able to thrive and quickly adapt in a fast paced, team oriented environment.
  • Fearless and persistent. Motivated by the challenge of closing new outbound sales. Not afraid to ask for the business.
  • Willing to make a lot of phone calls and use social media to connect with decision-makers.

Highly Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of relevant experience including sales and marketing in a SaaS environment.
  • Experience selling in Education or Real Estate is a plus.
  • Experience with consultative selling a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full time, salaried position with competitive compensation (base salary + commission) and benefits including 20 paid days off per year, parental leave, stock options, SIMPLE IRA, and a comprehensive health plan, including vision and dental, provided at no cost to the employee. Niche is committed to the local community and offers three paid volunteering days per year.
